There’s been a lot of talk about a recent piece of dermatological ingenuity, the V2 Injector Gun. That’s for an excellent reason – let’s break it down and tell you know what all the fuss is about.

You may know hyaluronic acid plays an essential part in skin hydration. We produce it naturally and it’s an ingredient in most professional topical skin care plans, but that’s not all. When injected beneath the skin, it’s shown to be very effective in plumping and filling, targeting dehydrated skin, fine lines and wrinkles. Until recently, the technique has relied upon single fine needle injections which meant it could be tricky to achieve an exact depth and even administration of the solution. The single needle method required longer treatment times and had the associated risks of bruising and more downtime.

Given those limitations, you’ll begin to understand the enthusiasm surrounding the V2 Injector Gun.  A serious step up in delivery, it allows Skin Centre’s registered nurse and qualified practitioner to place the solution reliably beneath the skin BUT with a multi-needle system ensuring precise depth and accurate dosing, every time. The gun can simultaneously inject up to nine needle points for larger areas, but the real beauty is that your body won’t perceive the multiple point sensation as any different to a single point. Plus, you can also have an anaesthetising cream applied before treatment if necessary.

The solution hasn’t changed, still tried and true. ‘Redensity’ is a mix of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, amino acids, Vitamin B6 and antioxidants. In addition to hydration, it activates fibroblasts within the dermis making them lay down new collagen and elastin. The effect? Thicker, tighter, yet more elastic skin on the face, lower eyelid, forehead, neck, décolletage and hands. You’ll see results in the very first session. The skin achieves a better colour with less creasing plus improved hydration and suppleness. From one treatment to the next, you’ll notice your complexion looking increasingly radiant and your skin firmer.

Three sessions are required initially, each a month apart, followed by a maintenance session recommended two to three times a year. Post treatment, your results should remain evident for at least 12 months before the effects of ageing are noticeable again. It’s affordable too. When you work out the cost over that year, it’s less than the average person’s daily caffeine habit, and the results are certainly more visible and longer lasting.

With all the evidence stacking up, you may be interested to find out a little more or perhaps make a booking. Simply email or call our friendly team at Skin Centre on 07 5785788, they’ll be delighted to direct your call.
