EXPERTISE INVALUABLE ON AN INTERNATIONAL SCALE

Dr Salmon returned this weekend from chairing and speaking at the 2015 Mohs Micrographic surgery session at the World Congress of Dermatology in Vancouver. Dr Coldiron, immediate past president of the AAD was one of his speakers along with other internationally recognised Mohs surgeons.

Dr Paul Salmon BhB MBChB FRACP FACMS graduated from Auckland Medical School in 1987. He completed four years of specialised dermatology training as a registered specialist dermatologist. Two years of his specialist training were at the University of California, San Francisco working with some of America’s top cosmetic surgeons. Dr Salmon founded the Skin Centre in 1997. He is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is in demand to speak internationally at Dermatology meetings. In 2009, Dr Salmon arranged and chaired the core symposium of Cutaneous and Surgical Dermatology at the World Congress of Dermatology in Prague, a great honour and a first for a New Zealand dermatologist.

The Skin Centre has expanded and recently opened an Auckland clinic – Skin Centre at Ascot.

Dr Paul Salmon (BhB MBChB FRACP FACMS) will consult and operate on a part-time basis from this clinic, alongside Dr Nicholas Birchall.
