ACMS accredited Fellowship Training Position in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology

We are seeking a UK-trained Dermatologist with CCT or nearing completion of CCT for the above position which offers structured, hands-on training in advanced Dermatologic surgery (including cosmetic surgical procedures) within a high-volume clinical setting

Position Overview

  • 2- year training post based in a busy modern practice in New Zealand commencing in January/ February 2027
  • Training includes Mohs Micrographic Surgery, advanced skin cancer management, complex Dermatologic surgery, Dermatologic Oncology, cosmetic surgery and lasers
  • High patient volume with extensive exposure to melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers
  • Supervision and mentorship by experienced Mohs surgeons Dr Paul Salmon and Dr Neil Mortimer
  • Supportive practice environment with modern facilities and integrated pathology services

Candidate Profile

  • UK-trained dermatologist (CCT holder or nearing completion)
  • GMC-registered with Dermatology training equivalent to Australasian standards
  • Demonstrated interest or prior experience in cutaneous oncology and Dermatologic surgery
  • Eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
  • Strong clinical skills, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centred care in a collaborative team environment
